Paul Palmero is an international icon in the modeling industry. As a young man, his natural talent in front of the camera led to his quick rise to fame. But as Palmero's modeling career continued, he discovered his love for the other side of the camera. He began shooting models, actors, and entertainers around the globe. With 25 years of experience as both a high fashion model and photographer he is undoubtedly one of the most brilliant artists of our time.
His fifteen years of success as a model began at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City where he studied acting. He was then asked to work on a motion picture in Rome, where he was subsequently discovered. While working on the film in Rome, an international photographer asked Palmero to appear in Harpers Bazaar magazine, a highly prestigious fashion publication. He was photographed for many editorials and became one of the first faces of the Valentino campaign.
​Realizing his talent for modeling, Palmero then moved back to New York city. While working with Yves St. Laurent in the sales division, Palmero was asked by famous artist Andy Warhol to appear in his magazine Interview. Francesco Scavullo, one of the great fashion photographers of our time was one of the first to photograph Palmero in the United States.

A few years later, Jon Casablancas of Elite Models came to Manhattan in search of male models to help him open his agency in Paris. Of the thousands who auditioned for Casablancas, Paul Palmero was one of the twelve men that Casablancas personally selected. Palmero was instantly successful, becoming one of the top models in Paris. He then moved back to New York City, this time to grace the covers of GQ, Men's Wear and Viva in international campaigns for Armani, Cerrutti, Lanvin and Valentiono. During this period, Palmero worked with many of the greatest photographersof the time, including Richard Avedon, Guy Bourdin, Albert Watson and Alberto Rizzo.

The next stop for Palmero was Los Angeles, where he contined studying theatre. He studied unde the famous Kim Stanley of the Actor's Studio. During this time, Palmero appeard in serveral soap operas, films and commercials, but he quickly discovered that his true love was the camera. He bagan pursuing his love of photography and developing his portfolio. hen, Palmero opened Palmero Management, a career management company for actors and models. Among his dicoveries were William MacNamara, Gabrial Hill, and Karen Saby. The magazines that Palmero had once graced were now showcases for his own photography. His pictures appeared across the globe in such magazines as GQ, Interview, Vanity Fair, Esquire, Black Elegance and In-Style. He has taken portraits of David Duchovny, William Baldwin, Jeremy Crispo, Prima Ballerina, Susan Jaffe, Beverly Peele, Tatiana Patitz, Brigitte Nielson, Fisher Stevens, Eric Estrada and Paul Taylor Dance Company. Palmero moved to Miami and became the director of the Michele Pommier Men's Division. He was then promoted to Vice President of Michele Pommier Enterprises, where he took part in the direction of the daily operations of the company. From 2000 to 2009 Paul owned Palmero Models Inc. which was located in South Beach, Florida and he was known for finding Great New Faces. Paul is now retired and working on his next chapters - helping young models and working on his memoirs. He is COLLABORATING with the GURU GROUP on a new and exciting adventure. He hopes to leave behind a foundation that will help models if they ever need financial assistance during their career.
